Goodnight faces with a crescent moon, sunny good-morning faces and astronauts, rockets and UFOs, all in text. Tap any line to copy it.
Moon kaomoji use two crescent characters from the Miscellaneous Symbols block: ☽ (U+263D) opens to the right and ☾ (U+263E) to the left, so a pair can frame a face like ☽(◕‿◕)☾. The sun is ☀ or the outlined ☼, and ☄ (U+2604) is a comet with a tail. Moon faces are mostly a way to say goodnight, sun faces a way to say good morning, and space faces suit launch news, astronomy posts and late-night chats. Faces where the star itself is the focus, like (★ω★), live on the star kaomoji page linked below, and the full set of moon phases and planet symbols is on the moon and celestial symbols page.
Closed eyes, a Zzz and a crescent: the goodnight message in one line.
Crescents on both sides of the face, or a face looking up at the moon.
For good mornings, beach days and heat waves. ☼ is the outlined sun, ☀ the filled one.
Rockets, planets, comets and visitors from elsewhere. 🛸 and 🪐 are newer emoji, so very old devices may show a box.
Both are crescent moons in the Miscellaneous Symbols block. ☽ (U+263D, first quarter) has its open side on the right and ☾ (U+263E, last quarter) on the left. Put ☽ before a face and ☾ after it to frame it.
It is a goodnight. The -ω- is a face with closed eyes and the crescent sets the time of day, so people send it as the last message before sleeping.
Not a ringed planet or a flying saucer. Unicode has astronomical symbols such as ♄ for Saturn and ☄ for a comet, but the saucer and the ringed planet exist only as the 🛸 and 🪐 emoji.
The UltraTextGen kaomoji generator filters the parts by mood, then lets you swap the outline, eyes and mouth and add cheeks or arms, keeping the left and right sides matched. Every part is plain Unicode text, so the face pastes wherever you are typing.
