An invisible character is a real Unicode character that renders as nothing, a blank space you can copy and paste where platforms normally reject empty input. People use them to make an invisible Discord name, add blank lines to an Instagram bio or caption, send a seemingly empty WhatsApp message, or create clean spacing in gaming nicknames. Every button below holds a genuine invisible or blank character: the tiles look empty, but the labels tell you exactly which character you are copying.

The Steam row comes from a Team Fortress 2 discussion on Steam Community from November 2021, where players report that zero width joiners and ideographic spaces leave a Steam name blank but show as <blank> or a dotted mark in the game.
Invisible text is a real Unicode character that renders as nothing: you see nothing, but it still counts as text. That is why you can put it where an empty field is normally rejected, such as a game name, a bio, or a chat message. Examples are the zero width space, the Hangul filler and the braille blank. The buttons on this page look empty, but each label tells you exactly which character you are copying.
Click one of the invisible characters on this page and paste it into the rename field in Free Fire or Mobile Legends. For Free Fire, players report the Hangul Filler (U+3164) has been rejected since around patch OB43, and reports on the Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) disagree, so try one at a time. If the game demands more than one character, paste it two or three times. Because it is a real Unicode character the field counts as filled while your name shows up blank. You can also use the same character just to separate words: Free Fire rejects the normal space bar, so pasting an invisible character between words gives you a spaced name without making it fully blank.
Which one works depends on the game and the patch. The Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) is the safer general choice; the Hangul Filler (U+3164) is reported to still work in Arena of Valor and PUBG, but players report Free Fire stopped accepting it around patch OB43, and reports on U+2800 there disagree. If one is rejected, try another: every game validates text differently, and the rules change with updates.
Some apps trim the normal space, or do not yet support certain invisible characters, so you get a box (□) or the field is treated as empty. When that happens, switch character, from the zero width space to the Hangul filler or the braille blank, or try another app or phone.

Every invisible character counts toward the name limit exactly like a visible one. Free Fire allows 12 characters, PUBG Mobile 14, Mobile Legends 20 (minimum 4), Valorant 16, and Roblox 20, so a fully blank name uses up your whole allowance, and blanks placed between words shorten the visible part of your name. Because a rename usually costs diamonds or a rename card, paste the character into a chat box first and check that it really shows up blank there.
